Trina Solar To Supply 167 MW Of PV Modules To Spanish Farm

Chinese photovoltaic products maker Trina Solar announced it is providing 167 MW of photovoltaic modules to a Spanish solar project.

Specifically, Trina Solar is supplying 496,000 pieces of its TSM-PE14H multicrystalline modules. Deliveries are to take place in the second half of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, the company said.

The plant is being developed by ACS Group and its subsidiary Cobra. The PV facility is to cover an area of 1,000 hectares (2,471 acres) in Mula, Murcia province. It has a total power capacity of 500 MW and is expected to be completed by end-2019.

In 2017, Trina Solar delivered over 9 GW of solar modules, while its cumulative shipments totalled 32 GW, it noted.
