The international photovoltaic retailer Krannich Solar is continuing its global expansion, having opened a branch near to Stockholm. Customers in the Scandinavian country have so far been served by the international Sales department in Germany. This was able to build up a good clientele. To the extent that we are now developing a presence there. Establishing this branch acknowledges the dynamic growth in the market for rooftop systems.
The new branch commenced activities at the beginning of November and is eagerly awaiting its début at the Swedish Solar Expo in Uppsala on 27.11.2018. Effective solutions for the Swedish PV market will be presented under the motto SOLAR PV DISTRIBUTOR SINCE 1995. Trade visitors can see for themselves at Stand No. 62.
“The photovoltaics market for private households and commercial companies has developed so well in Sweden in recent years that we are responding to the growing customer base with a regional sales team and establishing a local support and advice service”, states Kurt Krannich. “We want to expand our existing clientele of installers to a greater and faster extent with our offers and service packages,” declares Jens Ullrich, Chief Revenue Officer at Krannich Solar, when describing the goal. “The support the local sales team receives from the headquarters in Germany is helping expansion in all areas”.
Sweden was among the top 10 countries in 2016 for newly installed PV capacity 2016 in Europa. The government is primarily encouraging the establishment of small solar energy projects, having passed several regulations in 2017 aimed at making it easier for private households and companies to install PV systems for their own energy supply. Firstly tax on solar energy was abolished last year. Secondly, households, companies and public institutions are funded with 30 % of the purchasing and installation costs for investments up to 1.2 million Swedish krona (about 120,000 euros). That makes this measure particularly attractive for PV rooftop systems.
