Astronergy Solar Turkey is a well-established solar power plant developer, investor, PV module supplier and EPC contractor in Turkey and looking for 1 Project Engineer to join our team located at our office in Maltepe, Istanbul, Turkey.
We are looking for result-oriented candidates with a passion in the renewable energy industry. Project Engineer will communicate with customers, sales reps, site surveyors, structural-civil engineers, and operation team members to identify all necessary details of the projects’ timeline effectively and in a professional manner.
-Project Engineer will provide design engineering, cost analyses and support to sales and business development team throughout the proposal and design phase of the commercial and industrial rooftop solar PV systems,
-Site visiting and survey, cooperation with structural engineer in order to define the proper areas for module lay-out, design Solar PV systems, including single line diagrams, array layouts, fence layout, layouts to be performed in AutoCAD,
-Assess site conditions and anticipate issues that may arise during construction. Demonstrate structural, mechanical, and electrical design skills, ability to generate accurate design parameters and cost analysis.
-Establish Solar PV basis of design including module selection, string sizing, inverter selection, inverter power factor requirements, inverter loading ratio, and cable sizing according the outcomes of the site visits and surveys.
-Perform energy performance analyse by using PVSyst software.
– Cost analyses calculations to design optimal Solar PV system with a competitive cost.
-Research and test new technologies with team members in order to achieve greater efficiency.
-Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices when analysing current technical tools.
-Must possess minimum bachelor’s Electrical Engineering. (Master’s degree may be preferred.)
-3+ years of experience in solar PV system design, quotation, implementation,
-Must be proficient in AutoCAD and related Autodesk softwares,
-Must be proficient in PVSyst and related solar performance modelling softwares,
-Must be proficient in Ms Office and MS Project softwares,
-Demonstrated electrical, structural and mechanical design skills, and the ability to generate accurate construction drawings,
-Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate in a positive manner with project managers and engineering team members,
-Good problem solving and critical thinking abilities and a proactive work ethic,
-Knowledge of IEC codes and Turkish energy regulations.
