EMRA increases retail electricity prices by 15% for Q3

(Enerji IQ – July 2021) EMRA has increased its final retail electricity sales prices by 15% for all subscriber groups, effective from July 1, 2021, due to cost increases in electricity generation. Due to the increase in tariffs, 100 kWh of energy now costs 91.56 TL for residential end-users.

Active energy costs increased by 19.54% for residential users, 18.08% for the commercial customers, and 17.61% for industrial consumers. Distribution costs increased by 7.15% for all segments.
